Privacy notice
This notice explains what we do with the personal data you give us through this website. Today that is one thing: the email address you enter to join the waitlist.
Who we are
Meadow Analytics is the data controller for the personal data described here. We are based in the United Kingdom.
You can reach us about anything in this notice, including any request about your own data, at ro@meadowanalytics.com.
What we collect
Your email address. You give it to us by submitting the waitlist form. We store it with the date you submitted it and a note of which form you used, so we know where a signup came from. We ask for nothing else.
Anti-spam data. The waitlist form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a submission comes from a person rather than a bot. Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address to make that check. It is not used to identify you.
Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard request logs, including IP addresses, for security and reliability.
Analytics
This site currently runs no analytics scripts and sets no analytics cookies. If we add analytics later, we will update this notice to say what is collected and why before it goes live.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
We use your email address to tell you about early access to Meadow and about the product itself. We do not use it for anything else. Our lawful basis is your consent, given when you submit the waitlist form. You can withdraw that consent at any time, and every email we send will include an unsubscribe link.
For the anti-spam check and server logs, our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and working.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. We use a small number of service providers to run the site and store the waitlist, including Supabase as the database and Cloudflare for hosting, content delivery and the anti-spam check. They process the data only on our instructions. When we choose a provider to send the emails, they will be added to this list.
Some of these providers operate outside the UK. Where personal data is transferred abroad, we rely on the safeguards required by UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an equivalent mechanism.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address for as long as you want to hear from us. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, we remove it. If the waitlist is wound up without launching, we delete the list. Server logs are kept for the period set by our hosting provider.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you (access);
- have inaccurate data corrected (rectification);
- have your data deleted (erasure);
- ask us to restrict how we use it;
- receive your data in a portable format (portability);
- object to our processing, including direct marketing;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting what came before.
To exercise any of these, email ro@meadowanalytics.com. We will respond within one month.
If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, or by calling 0303 123 1113. We would rather you came to us first so we can put it right.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own. Cloudflare Turnstile may set a short-lived token in your browser to complete its anti-spam check; it is strictly necessary for the form to work and is not used for tracking.
Changes
If we change this notice we will update the date at the top. Material changes affecting how we use your email address will be sent to you by email.
